Anna

Anna – Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture practitioner

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Diploma Level 5

Having first received acupuncture in the early 90’s, Anna has always considered Chinese Medicine, and complementary therapies, a first port of call for most ailments. She has seen first-hand (both in her own family, and with clients) how Chinese Medicine can help alleviate symptoms & provide relief to those who fail to find solutions elsewhere.

As an I.T. worker in the city, she suffered from occasional bouts of back & shoulder problems – as many office workers do. She became a regular client of the clinic at the Academy of Chinese Medicine, and it was here that her passion to learn more about this discipline began.

Studying part-time, Anna completed a Diploma in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine in 2013. In this same year she worked at the Academy as an assistant & provided holiday cover at the clinic. Since then, she has practised privately.

She is a registered acupuncturist, co-founder & board member of the Eastern Medicine Association (EMA), UK, and a registrant of the British Acupuncture Federation.

As part of her diploma, she visited Traditional Chinese Medicine hospitals in Beijing, China. And as part of her continuing studies, she travels regularly to India to further study acupuncture & Tibetan medicine under Dr. Passang at his clinic in Pune.

Chinese medicine can be used to treat an extensive range of ailments, both structural and internal, and each treatment is tailored to the individual.
